"The Golden bridge to the pearly gates” features the Golden Gate Bridge with a clay paper plane wizzing over a space wave that mimics the great wave of Kanagawa. The folded plane harbors a hidden message on its way to its final destination to another realm to a loved one far away.

Herstory

The “Letters to Heaven“ series was inspired by the desire to want to talk to a loved one who is no longer on Earth. Sending letters gives peace of mind for those left behind even if it’s  hypothetical. The background features doodles documenting the story within the letter of the paper plane; with text over a celestial wave representing space and time. Two land bridges representing Heaven and Earth. Both are realms which are never meant to conjoin.
